About the International Microbiome Centre
The International Microbiome Centre at the University of Calgary is a translational research centre dedicated to investigating the microbiomes of humans, plants, animals and the environment. By bringing together world-class researchers, advanced technologies and collaborative partnerships, the IMC supports discoveries that deepen our understanding of the microbiome and its potential to improve health and well-being.
The IMC is part of the Snyder Institute for Chronic Diseases within the Cumming School of Medicine, where researchers work to advance innovative approaches to chronic and infectious disease research and care.
