The award of funds is meant to support diverse education initiatives such as workshops, small symposia, retreats, etc. While education initiatives are broadly defined, it is expected that the proposed use of funds will enrich the experience of Snyder members and will target areas in which training, education, and community building opportunities are not currently available both within the institute and the broader University of Calgary. In addition to applications from Snyder members, requests for leveraging initiatives from other institutes for the benefit of Snyder members may also be considered.
