Arushi Dagar, MSc

As the Communications Director, Arushi is responsible for engaging and informing trainees of all activities, events and initiatives being led by the SITC. She utilizes digital media, social media, print, email and word of mouth to get the word out and engage all trainees.

As the Education Co-Directors, Karen and Julianna will lead and organize the annual Snyder education events and workshops such as Endowed Seminar Series, Professional Development Day, Summer Student Research Day, and Trainee Research Day. They will be responsible for leading, organizing and implementing education opportunities for Snyder Institute trainees. The Education Co-Directors will attend monthly Snyder Education Committee and the CSM Training Rep Committee meetings as Snyder Institute Trainee representatives.

Diana Changirwa

Diana Changirwa, PhD & Mackenzie Gutierrez, PhD

As the Social and Community Outreach Co-Directors, Diana and Mackenzie will be responsible for leading, organizing and implementing social and community outreach activities for Snyder Institute trainees on a monthly and annual basis. They will seek out partnerships with community groups such as the Calgary Board of Education, the Ronald MacDonald House, etc. to foster relationships between trainees and the community through outreach activities.

Committee Members

Committee members will work with SITC Directors to generate ideas and initiatives for trainees within the Snyder Institute. They will assist with planning and organizing educational, social and community outreach events under the leadership of directors. They will assist with promoting and communicating activities for Snyder Trainees. They will represent the SITC and Snyder trainees in all their activities.
