Electricity Camp in the Rockies 2025

Electricity Camp 2025 / University of Calgary

The 4^th annual Electricity Camp continues the theme of bringing together leading researchers, policy makers and, industry practitioners to discuss pressing issues related to electricity markets.

Sessions will be focused on the challenges and solutions for electricity systems in transition. This year’s key themes are:

• Benefits and barriers to transmission expansion
• Wholesale market design with growing shares of renewables
• Load management in practice

Speakers will be a mix of researchers, practitioners, and policy makers.

Camp will take place at the Banff Centre from May 21 - 23, 2025. Arrangements can be made for transportation between the Calgary Airport and the Banff Centre.
