Congratulations to Dr. David Hodgins, PhD, professor in the Department of Psychology, who has been recognized by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) with the 2026 Lifetime Award for Research.

This prestigious award celebrates researchers who have demonstrated exceptional and long-standing achievements in the field of problem gambling research. Problem gambling research is the deliberate scientific study that fosters the prevention and treatment of problem gambling.

The awards ceremony took place on Friday, July 24, in Nashville, Tennessee, during the NCPG Annual Conference 2026.
